Cycle for Art is a charity cycling event for riders of all ages and abilities. The 9th Annual will take place on Saturday September 12, 2015.

Individual riders can select one of three routes :

  • 25km - a flat, loop suitable for riders of any skill level; a great family outing

  • 50km - a seaside ride that provides a little more challenge

  • 100km - a challenging loop that will provide experienced riders with a satisfying ride
And for Families :
  • Family 25k - up to four members of a family can ride the 25k route at a family rate

The routes will have support crews and refreshment stations along the way.

Enjoy yourself ... this isn't a race! The routes are very scenic with many places to stop and enjoy the sights, sounds and natural beauty along the way ... although the 100k ride always seems to attract a group that enjoy a vigorous pace :-)

All proceeds go to the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore including the Dr. Arthur H. Patterson Centre for Restorative Care at the Fisherman's Memorial Hospital in Lunenburg Nova Scotia.

Safety is very important. All riders must have a bicycle in good operating condition and wear CSA certified helmet. Riders should cycle single file and as close to the right hand-side of the road as possible.  Please obey all traffic signs. We will have riders on the various courses that can provide support (repair flat tires, some water, cell phones), there are designated aid stations and there will be a support vehicle capable of carrying bicycles and riders.

This event will proceed rain of shine.

We hope you can join us on Saturday September 12th!
